What was my Hyperliquid PnL this year? Funding, fees and realized PnL by year
Hyperliquid's UI shows PnL per position and a portfolio chart, but not a per-year breakdown of realized PnL, fees and funding, which is what you (or your accountant) need at tax time.
What you get
| Line | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Perp realized PnL | Sum of closedPnl on every perp fill closed in the year |
| Trading fees | Sum of fee on perp fills (negative = maker rebates) |
| Funding net | Sum of hourly funding payments (userFunding); positive means you received more than you paid |
| Net perp result | Realized PnL − fees + funding |
| Deposits / withdrawals | USDC bridged in from and out to Arbitrum |
| Fill counts | Perp and spot fills per year |
Things to know
- Funding is not in your PnL. Hyperliquid's position PnL excludes funding, which can be large for positions held for weeks. Many traders are surprised by the funding line.
- 10,000-fill window. Hyperliquid's API only returns your latest 10,000 fills. If you trade more than that, the page shows the date your fill data starts. Funding and transfers are complete regardless.
- Sub-accounts and vaults have their own addresses. Run each one.
- Read-only: it uses public data for the address you paste. No wallet connection, no signature.
Need it in Koinly?
The same page writes a Koinly-ready CSV (with daily rows per coin so you stay on a smaller Koinly plan). Free for small accounts, $9 for larger ones. See the Koinly import guide.
